Rapid review of heroin | PSY 630 Psychopharmacology | Ashford University

 focus on the pharmacology of the drug Heroin  and not on the social or addictive aspects.  Do not focus on addiction and social impact.  In the Rapid Review, analyze and explain the 

(1)pharmacological aspects of the drug (2)  neurotransmitters affected, receptors (3) route of administration (4) half-life, doses, side effects (5) drug interactions, contraindications (6) other important facets of the drug Explain these aspects of the drug heroin in terms of the psychiatric disorders indicated for the drug and the issue(s) associated with that use. If there is no accepted therapeutic use for the drug, evaluate and describe the actions of the drug with regard to the abuse process.
